It’s the kind of coffee shop where the menu focuses on classic flavors done right, making it a reliable stop for breakfast, a quick bite, or a casual meal with family.

One of the standout items here is the Minced Pork Noodles. The bowl arrives warm and fragrant, with springy noodles coated in a savory sauce and topped with well-seasoned minced pork. It’s hearty without being too heavy, and the flavors feel balanced and familiar. If you’re visiting early in the day, the Breakfast Set is another popular choice. It keeps things simple yet satisfying, pairing toasted bread with hot drinks that start the morning on a comforting note.

Speaking of drinks, Seng Hong Coffee Shop is known for its great coffee and great tea selection. The coffee has that classic kopi-style richness-bold, aromatic, and slightly sweet if you choose it that way. Tea drinkers will also appreciate the range available, making it easy to linger over a warm cup while chatting with friends or family.

Several traditional snacks on the menu also deserve attention. The Traditional Kaya Toast is a must-try if you enjoy classic Singaporean breakfast staples. Crispy toasted bread with kaya spread delivers a fragrant sweetness that pairs perfectly with coffee. Another interesting option is the Otah Steam Bread, which brings together soft steamed bread and the aromatic flavors of otah. If you’re looking for something slightly different, the Roti Otak adds another layer of savory goodness that many regulars seem to enjoy.

What customers say?

“ Small old school coffee shop with only 2 stalls. A drinks stall & a noodle stall. We ordered 2 serving of otah toast & a mee pok. Both were good. The noodles is very tasty. This is a hidden gem near Leng Kee area if you happen to be in the area. Recommended. Support the older generation of kopi tiam. ”

“ Stumbled upon this hidden gem while searching for a nearby coffee shop. There’s no menu, but I overheard the person ahead of me order otah bread, so I decided to give it a try too. The owner is quite charming and suggested I order one at a time since he can’t remember multiple orders. Everything is freshly prepared and absolutely delicious! So glad I discovered this place! ”

- Rachel Lee P.S -

“ We their traditional toasted & steamed bread, coffee/milk tea and runny soft-boiled eggs with a dash of dark soya sauce. Personally, I prefer the toasted bread instead of their steamed version, which was served light, thin and crunchy with a nice spread of kaya & sliced butter. In fact, it’s so toothsome, I ended up re-ordering each item twice. ”

“ Discovered this humble local stall through Google Maps and decided to give it a try. We ordered half-boiled eggs and two sets of otah toast. The eggs were perfectly done—smooth and creamy. The otah was fresh, generously portioned, and packed with flavor, sandwiched between soft, fluffy white bread. It paired wonderfully with a cup of local kopi-C siew dai, making for a truly satisfying local breakfast. One of my companions ordered the bak chor mee with mee kia, which was also delicious—springy noodles with a well-balanced mix of savory ingredients. The friendly uncle running the coffee stall added to the warm, welcoming vibe. A gem of a place serving honest, good local food. Definitely coming back for more! ”

“ Chanced upon Seng Hong Coffee on a weekend afternoon and decided to give it a try. I had the otak bread, and it was surprisingly nice — soft, fluffy bread with a generous layer of otak that was flavorful and had a mild spice kick. A simple, satisfying local snack done well. Worth a stop if you’re in the area and looking for something nostalgic and tasty. ”

“ Old school coffeeshop nestled within towers of HDB blocks. For those who like pork liver, their bak chor mee is cooked to the perfect texture, do ask for less oil if you're not a fan of pork lard though. Their coffee and half boiled Kampung eggs were so delicious, better if not on par with some of the famous chains in Singapore. ”

- Peng Siang -

“ Came here for a quick lunch. Food - $4 bak chor mee tasted OK. Service - served to table. Atmosphere - typical local coffee shop with lunch crowd from nearby offices and HDB blocks. ”

- Christopher Looi -

“ Old school coffee shop you still can find steam bread. Coffee is not bad too. Only other stall is the bak chor mee stall which serves a decent bak chor mee. ”
